What is One Click Manufacturing?

One Click Manufacturing (OCM) is a lightweight tool you install on your computer. Once installed, it automatically opens your CAM software as soon as production files are downloaded from Circle One - no manual import needed.

  • Production files are downloaded as a .OCM file
  • OCM detects the file and automatically opens your configured CAM software
  • Your design is immediately available in your milling or printing software
💡 OCM is optional but strongly recommended for a seamless chairside workflow. Without it, you can still download files as a ZIP and import them manually.

Supported CAM applications

Milling software: Amann Girrbach Ceramill Match 2 · DGShape by Roland (Millbox for DGShape) · VHF DentalCAM

3D Printer slicers:  Shining 3D Accuware · RapidShape Print Studio · Asiga Composer · Formlabs PreFormLauncher · SprintRay RayWare · ZyloPrep

Before you install

  • CAM software installed on the same PC as OCM → file access works automatically ✅
  • CAM software on a different PC → OCM cannot open it automatically ❌ (use ZIP export instead)

How to install

Go to oneclickmanufacturing.circle.dental/ and download the OCM installer for your operating system (Windows).

Configure Chrome to open .OCM files automatically

  1. After downloading your first .OCM file in Chrome, click "Always open files of this type" in the download bar.
  2. Or go to Chrome Settings → Downloads and configure .OCM auto-open.
⚠️ Don't forget to configure automatic opening of .OCM files in Chrome. Without this step, you must manually double-click each downloaded file.

Using OCM during export

  1. Validate your design in Circle One.
  2. At the Export step, click "OneClick Manufacturing"
  3. The .OCM file downloads and Chrome opens it automatically.
  4. Your CAM software launches with production files pre-loaded.
  5. Start milling or printing directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my export always remain accessible?
Export
+

Yes. Once your manufacturing files are generated, they remain available in your case details.
You can download them as many times as you need, at no additional cost.

How do I get my manufacturing files? What do they include?
Export
+

Once generated, your production files are available for download.
They include:
- the modeled prosthesis in STL format
- the finish line in PTS format (useful for certain manufacturing methods, primarily milling)

All export files are automatically oriented according to your chosen production method (milling or 3D printing).

You can download them as a ZIP file or in OCM (Circle One Manufacturing) format.
The OCM format lets you automatically launch your manufacturing software upon download when the Circle One Manufacturing module is installed.

Is the bur diameter (tool offset) taken into account during real-time modeling?
Export
+

Yes. The bur diameter (tool compensation) is defined when configuring your machine in “My Equipment.” Circle One uses this during modeling to ensure your design is perfectly millable.

This option also applies to printing settings (0 mm by default, 0.3 mm recommended) to avoid resin residue in sharp intaglio areas.
